Features That You'll Love!
Clean Eggs
With the roll-away design and automatic bird excluder gates on the nesting boxes, you get consistently clean eggs. Simply level your nesting boxes, and your eggs will safely roll from where they are laid down to a conveyor belt that the hens can't reach. The automatic excluder gates on the nesting boxes, close in the afternoon and reopens in the morning, stopping your flock from roosting in the nests overnight. The mats are easy to clean and there is no straw to dig through looking for eggs. This keeps the nesting area tidy and your eggs cleaner, too.

Easy To Collect Eggs
Save time collecting eggs from the central conveyor belt. Simply fold down the shelf, attach the wind handle and start winding your eggs in. The shelf also acts as a place to have your trays to easily keep them out of the way of the hens. No need to sift through nesting boxes or straws looking for eggs. The nesting boxes are also adjustable to level them out when on uneven ground, so you ensure the eggs roll.

Hot Dipped Galvanised Chassis
All of our Chicken Caravans, Skid Feeders and Feed Trailer have hot dipped galvanised chassis. This is 4 times thicker than pre galvanised steel. Why do we include this? Because we learnt very quickly just how corrosive chook manure can be. This will allow your caravan to last much longer against corrosive chook manure.

Mobile And Easy To Move
Easily move the Caravan around your yard or paddock and stop your grass being turned to dirt. It can be towed by a tractor or 4wd with a 50mm tow ball. Surround it with some portable fencing and you can stop your grass from becoming dirt, fertilise your pasture, and have healthier hens that can access fresh grass.
Solar Powered
All of the caravan's automated features are powered by an internal battery and managed through a central control box. The battery is continuously charged by a roof-mounted solar panel, making the system entirely off-grid and eliminating the need to run cables to mains power. This user-friendly control box is easily programmable, allowing you to set custom schedules for all automated functions to best suit your local environment and seasonal daylight hours.

Upgrade To These Extras
Make looking after your hens even easier with our optional extras for the Chicken Caravan 130 below ⬇

Auto Main Doors
Save yourself early morning and late evening trips to the paddock by adding the automated solar door to your Chicken Caravan 130. This smart upgrade automatically opens the coop at sunrise and securely locks it at night, transforming your setup into a truly hands-off operation. It also features a built-in wind sensor that partially closes the doors during high winds, protecting your flock from the elements while still allowing them safe entry and exit.

Nipple Drinkers
Ensure your flock always has access to fresh, uncontaminated water by adding the nipple drinker system to your Chicken Caravan 130. Unlike traditional open troughs, this enclosed design prevents hens from kicking dirt and manure into their daily water supply, saving you valuable time on cleaning chores. It is easy for your hens to access and learn to use.

Lighting System
Maximize your egg production year-round by equipping your Chicken Caravan 130 with the automated lighting kit. As natural daylight decreases during the shorter winter months, this integrated system artificially extends the light your flock receives to help maintain consistent laying habits. Powered directly by the caravan’s solar setup and managed by an easy-to-use timer, it provides a completely hands-off solution for keeping your hens productive regardless of the season.
Predator Protection
Secure your flock by pairing your Chicken Caravan 130 with electric fencing and solar energiser. This highly effective barrier keeps dangerous predators, such as foxes and wild dogs, safely at bay while actively containing your hens within their designated grazing area. Designed to be just as portable as the caravan itself, the fencing is easy to roll out and move during your regular pasture rotations, ensuring your birds remain fully protected no matter where they are on your property.
Choose How Your Caravan Arrives
We know every farm has different setup capabilities and freight budgets, which is why the Chicken Caravan 450 is available in two delivery options:
Flat Packed (DIY Assembly): To help you save significantly on freight costs, this option ships securely packed on pallets. Please note that this is an advanced build: it requires on-site assembly and typically takes two people approximately 3-4 days to fully construct. You will need a forklift or tractor with tynes to unload the pallet. If you do not have either of these, please let us know before purchase and we will try and arrange delivery another way.
Fully Assembled (Ready to Roll): Your caravan arrives fully built and ready to be towed straight out to the paddock on day one, for you to get ready for your chickens to arrive. (This option is for Australian customers only)
Why movable chicken coops?
Moving your chickens regularly is one of the most effective ways to improve both your land and your flock’s wellbeing. Traditional stationary coops often result in bare, compacted ground where chickens overwork the exact same patch of dirt. By adopting a mobile setup, you keep your flock on fresh grass, allowing them to naturally forage for insects and vegetation. As they move, their instinctive scratching gently aerates the topsoil, while their nutrient-dense manure is evenly distributed across the ground. This systematic rotation prevents any single area from becoming overloaded with waste, turning your chickens into a natural fertilizing crew that encourages lush, rapid pasture regrowth and deeply enriches your soil's microbiology. A win for your chickens and your pasture
HOT TIP: Order your chickens to arrive at least six weeks after your caravan is scheduled to arrive. This gives you plenty of time to get everything organised and set up, and reduces any stress at this busy time.

- No it is not. Here are some ways that you can help reduce the likelihood of snakes.
- Keep the caravan moving. Rather than have it mobile in one spot, keep it moving around your yard or paddock. This will disrupt the environment, as snakes prefer an undisturbed environment this area will be less appealing. Also keep piles and scraps of things clear (think wood or scrap metal piles) away from your coop, as these would be appealing to snakes.
- Keep food covered at night to keep rodents at bay. The Chicken Caravan 10 and 30 both now come with automatic covers that close the feeder off at night with the main door, and reopen in the morning. This is to reduce rodents. Cover any other feed sources you may have and be sure to clean up any spilled food
- Collect your eggs daily. Snakes love rodents and eggs. So collect them daily and take away that temptation
- Keep your grass short. Snakes like to use grass as a way to 'hide' while they move. Keeping it short around your electric fence or caravan can help reduce their amount
- Once we have worked out an estimated date for delivery, a deposit of 50% of the invoice will be required along with a signed copy of our terms and conditions to secure your order. The remaining 50% will be paid prior to dispatch of your order.

- Please let us know when requesting a quote if you do not have a way to unload.
- We strongly recommend you only purchase your chickens once your caravan has been successfully delivered and assembled.
If the ordering of any such hens or livestock is required to be planned in advance, we strongly recommend that you order your hens to arrive at least 6 weeks after your caravan is scheduled to arrive.
This will ensure that in the unfortunate circumstance that your caravan is delayed, your chickens wont be without a shelter.
