The Chicken Caravan E Coop (the Everything Coop) is a mobile poultry shed built on skids, designed to comfortably house laying hens or grow out chicks on pasture. Finished in our new 'Paperbark' color, this system is an ideal and efficient starting point for pastured poultry production.
Available Models
E Coop 60 Layer Model: Accommodates up to 60 laying hens. Features 2 nesting box bays.
E Coop 90 Layer Model: Accommodates up to 90 laying hens. Features 3 nesting box bays.
E Coop Grower: Designed specifically for growing out chicks and other poultry. This model includes a man door to access the coop, as well as mesh to enclose the coop when the doors are open.
Key Shared Features
Integrated Water System: Includes four 20-litre water containers (80 litres total). All containers are interconnected with built-in float valves, allowing you to attach a single hose to fill them all at once. The system gravity-feeds to six Chicken Caravan Bullet nipple drinkers.
Feed Storage: Equipped with two easy-to-fill galvanized feeders holding 30 kg each, providing a total of 60 kg of onboard feed storage.
Shade & Shelter: Features two large doors that open up to provide ample shade and weather protection for your birds.
Predator Protection: Designed to easily pair with a Chicken Caravan electric poultry fence to keep your flock safe from foxes and other predators (sold separately)
Smart Nesting System (60 & 90 Layer Models Only)
The layer models are equipped with premium rollaway nesting boxes designed to ensure clean eggs and reduce labor.
Capacity: Each nesting bay caters to 30 Isa Brown-sized hens.
Automatic Exclusion: Includes an automated exclusion system that closes the nests at night to prevent hens from sleeping inside and dirtying the boxes.
Solar Powered: The automated system is entirely off-grid, powered by a 12-volt battery and charged by an included solar panel.
Roosting: Includes four perches running through the middle of the coop for nighttime roosting.
