The Skid Feeder 150 holds 150kg and the only moving part is the lid. It can feed 50-150 laying hens for approximately a week. You can also hook two or three together via the tow hooks, this allows you to move them altogether. They can also be hooked to your Chicken Caravan 130, 450 or 600 to be towed along behind it. (Please note that you will need a tow vehicle that can tow the amount of weight that you have hooked together).
All of our Chicken Caravans and skid feeders have hot dipped galvanised steel chassis – this is 4 to 5 times thicker than pre-galvanised steel. This means your purchase will last longer against corrosive chicken manure.

The Skid Feeder 150 will be delivered flat packed in a timber crate. You will need a forklift or tractor with tynes to unload the crate from the truck. If you do not have unloading equipment please contact us before purchase and we might be able to arrange alternative delivery options.
