The Chicken Caravan Skid Feeder 1000 is purpose-built to suit the needs of free-range or pasture-range poultry farmers. Designed to keep feed close to your flocks and reduce labour with less filling of feeders.

The Skid Feeder 1000 will be delivered flat packed in a crate. You will need a forklift or tractor with tynes to unload the crate from the truck. If you do not have unloading equipment please contact us before purchase and we might be able to arrange alternative delivery options.

The Chicken Caravan Skid feeder 1000 takes 2 people approximately 5-6 hours to assemble.  This build is classed as an intermediate assembly.

You will also need flat hard ground (concrete is best) to make assembly easier.  Please also carry out any assembly, adhering to any local laws. 

No there is no welding required

  • We can arrange delivery of your Flat Pack Skid Feeder with a transport company. Please contact us and we can send you a quote.  You will need a forklift or tractor with tynes/pallet forks to unload the pallets once it is delivered to you. The dimensions of the pallets are as follows: 

  • Pallet: 2700L x 1200w x 450h weighing 285kg
